Final 2015 Blog

My year in review – what mattered most?

This has without a doubt both personally and professionally been another challenging, exciting, interesting and successful year – truly beyond what I could ever have imagined. If anyone had said to me a year ago that this is where I would be, I would have probably thought they were crazy so I am beyond grateful and excited for all that has happened and what is poised to unfold in 2016.

Once again I invested more in my business and myself this year. I committed even more to my daily practices, I challenged and stretched myself more and I took bold and calculated risks like never before. In a nutshell, this year I went to the absolute edge in my life and I have to say…the view looks spectacular!

Once again I travelled thousands and thousands and thousands of miles to be able to learn from and be mentored by the some of the most successful and influential people in the coaching and personal development world, in particular Brendon Burchard. And I’m so grateful not just for what I’ve learnt but for the amazing people I’ve met and friendships I’ve made that will no doubt last for many, many years to come.

As I always I’ve done my very best with everything possible, I’ve taken everything I’ve learnt to heart and when my life almost came to a literal crashing end in August, I was forced to stop and relook at everything I was doing.

As a result, I made some important decisions and with absolute clarity and focus began working consistently to create what I knew I wanted and needed and in so doing, I’ve created a new reality for myself.

This year I’ve felt what I can only describe as reaching that major tipping point – in my soul, in my awareness and my commitment to raise the bar in my life and follow my dreams like never before. I’ve taken the hugest leaps of faith both personally and professionally. I’ve worked incredibly hard to put all the necessary pieces in motion. And now as they start to come together, I’m patiently going with the flow waiting for the most critical to fall into place and beyond excited to see how everything comes together but definitely unattached to the outcome as I know it will all come together exactly as it needs to be for me right now.

All of this makes for what is poised to be a year like never before! But as it’s said – “what got to where you are will not get you where you want to go” and so I’ve stepped completely out of comfort zone in huge ways and I have no doubt this year will take me literally and figuratively where I have never been before! Super exciting, a little scary for sure but I’m going all in, with the belief and faith that this is truly going be my best year yet where I will have the opportunities sot step up and bring the best of myself to my clients, to my friends, to my family and to the world.

So what made this year so epic for me? What caused this unbelievable shift towards realizing my dreams like never before and being so comfortable with the uncomfortable and unknown?  There were a lot of things at play and in reality it has been many, many, many years of running the miles to get to this point but it all came down to this: when the universe gave me the clearest and most challenging sign possible in August – I listened and I reflected, I visualized and felt every day what I wanted and I course corrected or put another way, I took action – with 100% clarity, 100% commitment and 100% focus! I did a 180 in my life – I did what I coach my clients to do every day! As a result my life on every possible level will be changing in 2016 and I cannot even begin to express the gratitude, excitement and joy I am feeling knowing what lies ahead for me – my dreams becoming a reality beyond what I could have ever imagined.

So as you get ready to embrace another year, take the time to reflect on what has worked for you and what hasn’t in 2015, get clear on what you want in your life and then create a plan to take the bold action it will require to make things happen. Why? Because dreams do come true and you deserve nothing less!

As I wrap up my final blog for 2015, I hope and pray that 2016 and beyond brings you an abundance of clarity, courage, energy, joy, happiness, love and fulfillment like never before and that you show up completely in your life, that you face your fears and take on the challenges of your journey and make your dreams happen. And I hope I can continue to support and inspire along the way!

So until next YEAR – embrace your inner truth, live your purpose and make your contribution in the world.

With gratitude and appreciation,
Lauren
